Our 4 Core System
LAM’s four-core system is designed to provide comprehensive support to children, catering to their diverse needs and interests.
-
- Homework Assistance
Our first core, Homework Assistance, is dedicated to helping students continue their learning journey in a conducive and supportive environment. Our trained professionals work with each child to provide personalized assistance that ensures they grasp complex concepts and excel in their academic pursuits.
-
-
Nutrition
-
Our second core, Nutrition, is designed to promote healthy eating habits and fight hunger. During our after-school program, students are served nutritious snacks, and during summers, they receive two meals and a snack every day. By providing balanced and healthy meals, we are not only combating child obesity but also helping children stay focused and energized.
-
- Leisure Time
After a long day of learning, our third core, Leisure Time, provides children with the opportunity to relax and unwind. We understand that each child has different interests, and that’s why we offer various activities such as arts and crafts, board games, and reading. By engaging in activities they enjoy, children can develop their creativity and imagination while having fun.
-
- Activity
Our fourth core, Activity, is dedicated to promoting physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Through daily sports activities such as basketball, Double Dutch, relay races, and frisbee, children can stay active and healthy. We believe that encouraging children to be physically active is essential for their overall well-being and helps develop positive habits that will last a lifetime.
How LAM Campus is Making a Difference
At LAM Campus, we are committed to making a positive impact on our community through a variety of programs and initiatives that support children, families, and communities. Here is a brief overview of the different areas where we serve and make a difference:
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups who want to give back to their community. Our volunteers play an important role in supporting our programs and helping us achieve our mission.
We advocate for policies that support the well-being and happiness of children and families. We work with local and state policymakers to promote access to high-quality education, affordable childcare, and other important services for families.
We rely on the generous support of our donors to fund our programs and services. We welcome donations of all sizes and appreciate the support of our community in helping us achieve our noble mission.
In times of crisis, we are committed to supporting our community by providing disaster recovery services. Whether it is providing shelter, food, or other basic needs, we are always there to support families in their time of need.
We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children, families, and staff members. To ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved in our programs on our premises, we have established a set of policies and guidelines that all participants are expected to follow.
All participants in LAM Campus programs are expected to behave in a respectful and responsible manner at all times. This includes treating others with kindness and compassion, refraining from using hurtful language or behaviors, and following program rules and guidelines. Participants who engage in disrespectful or harmful behavior may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or expulsion from our programs.
We take the safety of our participants very seriously. To ensure a safe and secure environment, we have established the following policies:
- All staff members are required to pass background checks and undergo training in safety procedures and emergency response.
- Parents/guardians are required to sign their children in and out of our programs each day.
- All participants are required to wear identification badges while on site.
- Our facilities are regularly inspected and maintained to ensure they are safe and in compliance with all local and state regulations.
We respect the privacy of our participants and their families. We will not share personal information, such as names, addresses, or contact information, with any third parties without explicit permission from the individuals involved. We may use photos or video footage of program activities for promotional purposes, but we will only do so with written consent from the participants or their parents/guardians.
We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and participants may need to withdraw from our programs. To ensure fairness and transparency, we have established the following refund policy:
- Requests for refunds must be made in writing to our administrative office.
- Refunds will be issued on a prorated basis, based on the amount of time the participant was enrolled in the program.
- Refunds will not be issued for missed days or days that the participant was suspended or expelled from the program.
We believe that by establishing clear policies and guidelines, we can create a safe and supportive environment for all participants in our programs. We appreciate your cooperation in following these policies and helping us create a positive and inclusive community at LAM Campus.
